Privacy policy

Who we are
PCOS Circle is an independent health information blog.
What we collect
You can read the whole blog without giving us any personal information. This blog has no accounts, comment boxes, advertising cookies, analytics or tracking pixels.
The interactive tools on this blog run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into them is sent to us or stored.
Contact and submission forms
Contact form. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use this only to read and reply to you, and to handle corrections, privacy requests and grievances.
Article submission form. If you are a healthcare professional and use our submission form, we receive your name, role, qualifications and specialty, registration number and council, email, the link and title of your article, anything else you choose to tell us, and the consents you give. We use these to verify your registration on the public register, review your article, contact you about it and, only with your consent, credit you in the byline. Your email is never published. Each consent is a separate box that is unticked by default, and we keep a record of when you gave it and the version of the notice you saw.
We do not use what you send for advertising, and we do not sell it or share it for marketing. Form submissions are stored by our hosting provider on our behalf. Please do not send health details about yourself or anyone else through these forms.
Your rights. You can withdraw consent, or ask to see, correct or delete your data, at any time through the contact form. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent. If we do not resolve your concern, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Server logs
Like all websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type and the page visited. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working. We do not use them to identify or profile readers, and we do not sell personal data.
Children
This blog is written for adults. Our forms are only for people aged 18 or older.
Changes to this policy
If we add any new feature that collects personal information, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
